Who We Are

The Florida Immigration Law and Justice Center (Florida ILJ), formerly known as Florida Justice for Our Neighbors, is a nonprofit organization specializing in immigration legal services. We’re driven by an experienced and passionate team of attorneys who work alongside low-income immigrants across Florida. Our services encompass comprehensive application assistance and legal representation before the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services and Immigration Courts.

Beyond legal services, we’re deeply committed to education. We believe in empowering both immigrant and non-immigrant communities with knowledge about the challenges faced by immigrants in Florida. To achieve this, we organize ‘Know Your Rights’ presentations and conduct regular community visits, establishing dialogue and fostering understanding.

Mission Statement: Florida Immigration Law and Justice Center is committed to welcoming immigrants by providing free or low-cost, high-quality immigration legal services. We actively advocate for immigrants’ rights on both local and national levels. Through dedicated education initiatives, we aim to enlighten both immigrant and non-immigrant communities about the issues facing our immigrant populations, fostering understanding, compassion, and unity within our diverse society.
