Welcome to Florida Immigration Law and Justice Center: Advocating for Immigrant Rights
We are thrilled to welcome you to our new web space for the Florida Immigration Law and Justice Center (formerly Florida Justice for Our Neighbors), a dedicated hub for immigration legal services. Our expert team of attorneys assists low-income immigrants throughout Florida, offering superior legal services, including application support and representation before the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services and Immigration Courts.
Beyond providing legal aid, we also prioritize education for both immigrant and non-immigrant communities. Our Know Your Rights presentations and community visits highlight issues affecting Florida’s immigrant populations. Feel free to explore more about Our Staff and Board of Directors.
Our Mission: Welcoming Immigrants with Open Arms
Our mission is threefold. Firstly, we extend a warm welcome to immigrants by providing free, high-quality immigration legal services. Secondly, we’re advocates for immigrants’ rights at both local and national levels. Finally, we aim to educate immigrants and non-immigrants alike about the issues that confront immigrant communities.
Our Values: Compassionate and Trustworthy Advocacy
At the core of our operations are our values. We are compassionate and trustworthy. We strive to create an environment that is welcoming to all. Our commitment to delivering high-quality legal services is unwavering. While our roots are faith-based, we welcome all clients and volunteers, regardless of their religious backgrounds.
We are deeply invested in improving our nation’s immigration policies and advocating for the fair treatment of immigrants within our communities. Lastly, we value our network model, which allows us to serve our clients better by learning from other sites throughout the US, leveraging our strengths, and increasing our productivity through shared resources and information.
We are thrilled you are here and look forward to accompanying you on your journey toward understanding and navigating the complexities of immigration law and justice.
